What:
A unique concept and design in affordable city centre living, and the first piece of the Greengate jigsaw.
Why:
Launched to address the exclusion by price of young professionals in their early careers from the city centre housing market, targeting a 20% discount on traditional one bed apartments.
How:
The concept was to build modular apartments for 21st Century living. The use of space was critical for each apartment so “dead” space was removed by overlapping functional areas and incorporating neat services pods containing a bathroom, utility cupboard, kitchen and wardrobe. The building itself is a dramatic 8 storey glass clad structure with marquee style tented roof, set within the Greengate Masterplan.
