Celebrations as 100 Embankment now fully let

100 Embankment is now 100% fully let following the recent announcement that National Highways Agency will take occupation of the remaining 12,000 sq ft of floorspace on a ten year lease.

Around 130 staff are expected to make the move to Salford's flagship office development in Spring 2025 where they will join XPS, Deloitte, Aecom and Ridge together with the first tenant, flexible workspace partner, x+why.

Developed as a joint partnership between Ask Real Estate, Tristan Capital Partners and Salford City Council, the building benefits from a fantastic elevated location, stunning views and great transport links, as well as a raft of quality facilities including the hugely popular roof terrace and an enviable sustainability commitment.

Speaking on behalf of the joint venture partnership, Jamie Hills, Development Director at Ask, explained: "The delivery and subsequent success of 100 Embankment shows public-private partnership at its best.  Since completion, we have worked closely with colleagues at Salford City Council to bring the building to its final conclusion in announcing this full occupation for which we are very proud."

Cllr Jack Youd, deputy mayor of Salford, said: "It's great to see the deal now completed.  The big story here now though is that the development is fully let.  Every floor is taken with new tenants, most of them moving to Salford to the first time and it's such positive news and definitely cause of celebration."

Commenting on the move, Steve Cooke, director of Estates, Facilities and Services for National Highways, said: "Our relocation to Embankment East marks the latest step in our ongoing commitment to building a better, greener, and smaller estate.

By reducing our Manchester office space by half and selecting a building with advanced sustainability credentials, we are also advancing out commitment to reduce our carbon emissions in line with our plan to reach Net Zero on corporate emissions by 2030."
